Pygmy goats

Bessie – 100% Pure Bred Pygmy.  Bessie is my oldest goat.  I have had her since 1999.  She was 2 years old when I got her.

Fruitcake – 75% Pygmy.  She was born to one of goats that recently passed away due to age.  She was one of triplets when she was born in October 2002.

This is Frack.  She is one of triplets born in April 2004.  She is 90% pygmy.  One of her sisters has already been sold.  She is for sale.  See the For Sale page for more information.

Precious – 75% Pygmy.  She is the sister of Fruitcake.  She was the runt of the triplets born in October 2002.  She was bottle fed as her mom rejected her but took care of both of her sisters just fine.  She is spoiled rotten!

This is Snowball.  She is 75% Pygmy.  She is the sister of Fruitcake and precious.  She was born in October 2002.

This is April.  She is a pure bred pygmy who was born in 2001.  Her mom is Bessie.

Amanda – Pygmy/Boer cross breed who was born in 2001.  She was sired by a buck that I recently sold and Bessie (above)

Murphy – Alpine/Boer cross.  Murphy reminds me of a Holstein cow.  She is marked like she should be a cow instead of a goat!

This is Fancy.  She is part Pygmy and part Boer.  She is a firm doe with great muscle tone.  She was born in February 2004.

This is Petunia.  She was born in March 2004.  She is 90% pygmy.

This is Clover.  She was born in February 2003.  She is 80% pygmy.

Boer goats

Floppy – 50% Boer

This is Special.  She got her name because she was the first kid to be born on the farm.  She was Special to all of us.

Snowflake – 50% Boer Cross.  Snowflake is the daughter of Tigger and Pooh.  (Both of them have recently been sold.)

Patches – 7/8 Boer

Princess – 7/8 Boer

This is Baby Doll.  She was born in March 2004.  Baby Doll is part Boer, part Pygmy.  She has beautiful markings and is a sweet heart with a great disposition.  She was bottle fed in the house as her mom did not produce enough milk with her first freshening to feed twins at first.  Baby Doll then adapted back to barn life and continued nursing from mom when she got it all together.

This is Nibbles.  She was born in March 2004.  She is part Boer, part Pygmy.  She is the sister to Baby Doll and got her name from nibbling on everything including clothes and especially shoe strings.  She continues to untie you shoes as soon as she can get a hold of them to pull.

This is Spot.  She is part Boer part pygmy.  She is a sweet heart.
